I’m not sure about you, but sometimes wordless images are just the ticket. Enjoy the following from our recent trip to the Sunshine State. Let me know what you think.

OK, I have to say something here. Purchased at the Space Center, this is possibly my most favorite mug. Ever. For the math lovers out there.

Bailey, my new buddy.
As my friend Marlene says, from my heart to yours.
Love. Peace. Unity.
Amazing pictures. I can’t decide which is my favorite–eat locals, the mug (which I get the math of), or Bailey. I am particularly fond of the one of the bare feet, and the flowers are gorgeous. Wonderful relaxing photos. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! Bailey made for a great photo op on our trip. I didn’t think I’d like Florida, but I loved it. 🙂

Thank you! Yes, it was a great week and we got lots of great shots. Sometimes it’s nice to wander off into our own thought processes. 🙂

I loved the photos! It looks as if you had an amazing trip and a wonderful time. The photos of the memorial at Pulse were quite touching.

Thanks, Ann. Yes, when I knew we’d be traveling to Orlando, Pulse is the one place I wanted to see (aside from our friends). I wanted to pay my respects. Such a horrific occurrence. The Space Center was another highlight, but the night club was the one that tugged at my heart. ❤

While it was great to land at PDX–have I mentioned I don’t fly well?–we are now back to rain, fog, and more fog. The trip was great. Loved the sunshine and seeing our friends. 🙂 How are you?

I love to travel. It’s the getting there and back that’s always hard. I have flown a lot but never enjoy it much. Going up and down is the hardest part. Doing as well as possible. Ready for winter though.

This makes me smile. I like flying in reverse order: can’t stand the take off (’cause my stomach always stays on the tarmac), I’m just OK while up there (mostly; if the plane would just stop rattling), and I LOVE the landing (’cause my feet are getting closer to the ground by the second). We hadn’t seen these friends since ’09, and we’d never been to Florida, so it was time. 🙂

Wow! What amazing photos. Eat any Rolos in Florida?? 💜

Thanks, Jess. My hiatus from Rolos included those fabulous corn fritters. Sinful. 😉

Lots of great shots here Karen. My maths loving 15yo son would absolutely love that mug. He has a Pi one that he drinks from. Hope the renovations are going well. 🔨🌿

Thanks, Miriam. Yes, my middle child was a math major in college and for him it took a mere glance. The renovations had to stop due to our trip and the rains here. But, the cedar that will be the decking is in the garage and oh, the smell. Love it. 🙂

Looks like a wonderful trip! I love the shots at the Pulse Club memorial, and no, I don’t get the math on the mug!

Thanks, Amy. We had a wonderful time. Sorry to leave all that sunshine behind. I had to ask about the symbols as well until I saw the words below…. 😉

Now I have to back and check!

OK, I see B greater than, but have no clue why the calculusy symbol with the fractions means average, except that I assume that’s how you calculate the average. It’s been 46 years since I took Calculus!

Me, too, Amy; it’s been far too long for me to have figured this out at first glance. I’m not sure whether I like the words below or the symbols best. 🙂
