Can’t be seen in some views, but this gorgeous photo was taken by my son. ❀

Thanks, Jessica. My son took a series of these and it was hard to pick just one for the post. He did a great job. How are you doing? πŸ™‚

Maybe you’ll share more later?? πŸ™‚ Very cheery. We had horribly cold winds today and lots of snow, that didn’t really stick. We’ve had a pretty mild winter but I’m still ready to see those Dogwoods bloom! How are you?

I also think I need to write about the Butterfly bush itself. It was a gift from our neighbor, a delightful elderly lady who has since moved. When she gave us the plant, it was very small and sat in a container in our backyard for many months. When transplanted, it just blossomed and is now quite large. Each year we sit on our front porch and watch the butterflies hover around. Just got a great idea for a video. πŸ™‚ I promise, you’ll see more of that dogwood soon. We are having unseasonably warm days. I am ready for spring.

Oh! How I LOVE that story about the butterfly bush! So weird because I was thinking about writing a similar one about my grandma’s roses.

Can’t wait to see that dogwood. Down at our woods cabin, dogwoods are EVERYWHERE! πŸ™‚

Well, I want to hear about those roses. My grandma loved roses, too. Our neighbor’s name is Margaret, but when she was born, her brother could not say sister, so he created a distinctive and cute name for her which stuck throughout her life. The post will reveal…. πŸ˜‰
