This Moment

As I try to find words to fit the horrendous pain now felt over the loss of their child, I do our friends a gross injustice. There are none; words don’t exist to capture the horror they are currently experiencing. I fall miserably short.

I post in honor of our dear friends who lost their grown son to suicide this past weekend. He took his life on his mother’s birthday.

May our friends find peace and hope in the weeks and months to come; may your troubled spirit, young man, rest easy, and may we all take a moment, this moment, to remember the below:

“Very few of us are what we seem.”

Agatha Christie

“There is never nothing going on.

There are no ordinary moments.”

Peaceful Warrior

Oh no. That’s heart wrenching. My heart aches for them and you. Sending positive and healing thoughts your way.

Thank you, my friend. We’ve never met, but I can tell you are an old soul, with a heart of gold. Thank you. ❤

Aww. Thank you so much. Yes, an old soul indeed. If we were neighbors, I’d show up with Tater Tot Casserole and bake goods. 🙂

Truly sad for your loss. Everyone loses when a life is lost, whether our family or someone else’s. One less light shining here. Hugs.
