or what you feel people have defined you to be…. the inner child thing. then you come into your own in your late 40’s and into your 50’s and finally are good in your own skin and really get it.

Yes, very true, and it does take a while. Trying to keep the past in the past and look forward as I push 60 is both scary and liberating. Onward…. 🙂

Thanks, Marlene. I am. Just taking some time reflecting. Working on some very interesting genealogy posts as well. Just came in from the swamp (the yard). How are you doing lately? Have the flowers popped up yet? 🙂

I know that swamp. Have one here. It’s pouring this morning but I see sun in the forecast for May 2. There have been flowers and nature doesn’t mind the rain. It’s doing it’s thing. I’m snapping out of the winter doldrums finally. 🙂 Looking forward to your posts.

Potted some flowers on the new deck yesterday. New recliners purchased today. Had my first coffee on the new deck yesterday, in the sun. So nice. Yep, it’s been the doldrums here, too. We’re gonna have a great week weather wise, it seems. Enjoy!
